College football transfer portal

Transfer Portal Window Opens Monday

On Monday, the college football transfer portal window will officially open up for all active FBS players.

The windows are being instituted for the first time, after being approved by the Division One Athletics Board earlier this year. The portal will be open for 45 days, and then once more open from May 1 to May 15.

Now, hundreds of players have already entered the transfer portal — that is, players who either competed in the FCS, are graduate transfers, or have seen their coach get fired this year. But Monday, everything opens up.

Prepare for mass chaos in college football. There are storylines everywhere. We’ve already seen players from the highest level announce their intentions to enter the portal once it opens. We know that there will be more and more entering throughout the day and throughout the rest of the window.

Welcome to the transfer portal window.

To view all of the players who have pledged to enter the portal/have already entered, take a look at The Portal Report’s transfer tracker list below.
