In 2022, Logan Diggs ran for more than 800 yards and had four touchdowns for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Now, Diggs is suiting up for former Irish head coach Brian Kelly in Baton Rouge, playing for LSU. Through six weeks, the addition has been a massive one for Kelly and his staff, as Diggs has been rock solid for the 4-2 Tigers.
STATS
On the year, Diggs has ran for 488 yards and four touchdowns. With 81 carries on the season, he is averaging six yards per carry. Diggs has gained 97+ yards in four of his five games so far, setting a season-high in rushing yards this past weekend with a 134-yard performance against Missouri in a shootout. The week prior, Diggs put up 101 yards and had his first multi-touchdown game of the season, posting two against Ole Miss in a 55-49 loss.
LSU’S TRANSFER CLASS
The Tigers did a solid job in the portal this offseason, bringing in talents such as Zy Alexander, Bradyn Swinson, Jordan Jefferson, Duce Chestnut, Omar Speights, Denver Harris, and Ovie Oghuofo.
Alexander, a DB, has 23 tackles on the year to go along with five PBU. Swinson, a DE, has 11 tackles and 1.5 TFL.
