Weekly Primetime Update: What’s New with the Buffs?

Published

on

Coach Prime and Colorado pulled out a huge win in Tempe last weekend, escaping 27-24 over the Sun Devils.

Once again, Colorado’s transfers, led by leader Shedeur Sanders, shined. Sanders didn’t have his flashiest game on the score sheet, but did end up with the huge win and let the Colorado fans know about it.

Shedeur threw for 239 yards and a touchdown in the win, while also rushing for a touchdown for the Buffs.

WR Javon Antonio was Colorado’s second-best transfer producer according to TPR’s fantasy point system. Antonio snagged five passes for 81 receiving yards and caught a touchdown pass in the winning effort.

STRONG DEFENSIVE EFFORT

On the defensive end, Colorado had several transfers with important performances as well. Myles Slusher, an Arkansas transfer, had six solo tackles and one sack to lead the Buffaloes’ defense.

Next, Omarion Cooper, an FSU transfer, had seven tackles (six solo) and defended two passes. Then, Rodrick Ward put up eight total tackles (four solo) with one TFL.
