In this week’s edition of a transfer player to watch, let’s take a look at Oregon State QB DJ Uiagalelei.
Last week against Cal, Uiagalelei recorded 275 passing yards with five touchdowns. Uiagalelei had 33.80 fantasy points in The Portal Report’s system, which ranked second in all quarterbacks, just behind Thomas Castellanos from Boston College.
Oregon State went on to defeat Cal, 52-40. The Beavers are 5-1 (2-1 Pac-12) and currently No. 15 in the country. Uiagalelei has a shot to keep the Beavers in the Pac-12 Championship race heading into mid-October.
Talk about "opposite hash arm strength"… how about a 32 yard out to the opposite hash by DJ Uiagalelei here. DJU had the highest passing grade in his career against Cal on Saturday (93.5) pic.twitter.com/7jPt64ACmW

Uiagalelei has thrown for 1,307 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. The Clemson transfer is throwing for 8.6 yards per pass, which is his career-best in a single season so far.
Next up for OSU is No. 18 UCLA before going on road trips to Arizona and Colorado. The Pac-12 race is looking interesting and Oregon State has a chance to make a difference in the race.
