Florida Atlantic sits at 3-3 so far this season through six games.

Quarterback Daniel Richardson, a Central Michigan transfer, has played in five games this year. Although he struggled in losses to Clemson and Illinois, he has picked up his play as of late, and had his best game of the year in this week’s win over USF.

On the 14th, Richardson threw 38 passes, completing 80% of his attempts for 382 yards and three touchdowns while only throwing one INT.

Richardson is a 5-foot-10 junior out of Miami, Florida, who had the biggest game of his career in 2022 at Central Michigan against P5 Oklahoma State. In that game, he threw for 424 yards (36-49) and four touchdowns against the ‘Pokes, per fausports.com.

A veteran of the college game, now is the time for Richardson and the Owls to build off of the momentum created last week by the transfer QB and stay hot heading into next week. Up next for Florida Atlantic comes UTSA and shortly after Charlotte.
