Is Travis Hunter the best football player in America right now?
The versatile Colorado star has made a massive impact on both sides of the ball this year for the Buffaloes since coming over from Jackson State with Deion Sanders. Despite an embarrassing loss last week to Stanford, Hunter has been a star in just about every game he has suited up for this year, before and after his injury.
This past week, Hunter once again played both sides, earning five solo tackles and going off for 13 receptions on offense. Hunter racked up 140 receiving yards (third among transfers) and two touchdowns through the air (T-2 among transfers).
This season, Hunter has 14 tackles (11 solo), one interception, and two passes defended on the defensive end, in addition to 29 receptions, 353 yards (12.2 yards per reception), and two receiving touchdowns. These statistics come from just four games played.
So now we pose the question: When fully healthy, is there any other player in the country that is more talented than Travis Hunter?
