Cornell forward Evan Williams entered the transfer portal on Tuesday ahead of his last season at Cornell.

Cornell’s Evan Williams Enters Portal as Grad Transfer with 2 Years of Eligibility

While we don’t know exactly how many players will be available during the next transfer portal cycle for basketball, there will be several Ivy League players that enter the portal while playing for their current teams this year as the league does not allow graduate transfers.

Cornell forward Evan Williams told The Portal Report that he will be entering the transfer portal as a graduate transfer for the 2024-25 season. To be clear, Williams will play the 2023-24 season (beginning in less than one week) for Cornell once again. This will be his fourth season with the program. After the season when Manon graduates, he will be available as a graduate transfer and will have immediate eligibility. He will have two years of eligibility remaining as he also has an additional year due to a medical redshirt.
