San Diego guard Kollen Murphy told The Portal Report that he plans to pursue his basketball and football careers elsewhere and will enter the transfer portal in order to do so.

Murphy is an interesting case, as he plans to enter the transfer portal in both football and basketball on December 4. He has already withdrawn from San Diego. He is a medical redshirt freshman who plays wide receiver and the guard position in basketball.

Murphy is looking to play at the Division One level, and does not have any preference for location. He is looking for “a situation that is willing to develop me in places to play professionally,” he told The Portal Report.
