Charlotte football, you have our attention!
This week, Charlotte’s staff had an excellent recruiting run in the transfer portal, and it’s safe to say they aren’t done yet with all this momentum. Charlotte added several power five transfers on Monday alone, as well as several other recruits this transfer season!
Let’s dive into the new recruits!
Maurice Clipper Jr. Tennessee OL
Clipper is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman who sat the bench for Tennessee, but will now bring P5 experience to the newly-formed Charlotte offensive line.
Mitchell Mayes – Clemson OL
Mayes is another power five transfer, coming over from Clemson. Mayes was a former three-star recruit who saw the field for the Tigers this year and should be a big-time contributor to the line at Charlotte.
