2.) Matthew Sluka – Holy Cross
With consecutive seasons of 20+ passing touchdowns under his belt, Matthew Sluka has been one of the most coveted FCS transfers this offseason receiving interest from Arkansas, Baylor, Duke, LSU, Kansas, Texas A&M, and more. A career that spans three seasons as a starter for the Crusaders with 59 passing touchdowns, 5,916 passing yards, a 58% completion percentage, and just 17 career interceptions, it’s easy to see why the Long Island, NY native has so much interest.
The grad transfer is yet to narrow his list, nor have any offers or visits been reported early into the transfer window, but the experienced veteran looks like a power-5 contender this offseason.
1.) KJ Jefferson – Arkansas
Spending the last five seasons in Fayetteville, KJ Jefferson has been the Razorbacks starter for the last three years and after a slightly down season in 2023 he’ll search for a new challenge away from Arkansas. Throughout those five seasons, Jefferson has thrown for 67 touchdowns and just 18 interceptions, has a completion percentage of 65% with over 7,900 passing yards, and has maintained an efficiency rating of 153.4.
In addition to Cameron Ward, Miami has reportedly been heavily invested in Jefferson with schools such as TCU and UCF also expressing early interest in the Sardis, Mississippi native since entering the portal.
