With tons of talent still on the table in the transfer portal, coaches are scrambling to fill out their roster with top tier players from around the country. TPR ranks the top ten FLEX (RB, WR,TE) players still available in the portal…
10. Mario Williams, USC WR
Williams took the nation by storm with his explosiveness and incredible ability after the catch. However, with the imminent departure of his quarterback Caleb Williams for the NFL, Mario decided to make a change. The 5-9 wideout is an outstanding route runner and uses his quickness in space to create huge plays for an offense. Expect Williams to be highly sought-after in the portal despite being unranked coming out of high school.
9. Kisean Johnson, Alabama State WR
When the ball is in the air, 99% of the time if Johnson is in range, he will be coming down with it. The 6-1 sophomore has shown an unbelievable contested catch ability, including a 47-yard score against Alabama A&M this year in which there were three defenders in the area. Kisean started off the year on a heater going for over 100 yards three straight times with three touchdowns in that span.
Although he did not maintain that pace, Johnson finished the year with 793 yards and seven touchdowns, good for the team lead by nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns. In fact, Johnson was the sole reason the Hornets passing offense stayed afloat, as no other receiver went for over 300 yards.
