15.) Jamarii Thomas – Norfolk State

FPTS/G: 34.2

Arriving from UNC Wilmington this past offseason, Thomas has been a double-digit scorer in every contest but one this season averaging 18 PPG, 4.1 APG, and 2.5 STLPG to lead the Spartans to a 9-6 start with wins over FGCU, VCU, and Illinois State.

14.) Fardaws Aimaq – Cal

FPTS/G: 35.6

Our second Golden Bear on this list, the former Mercer, Utah Valley, and Texas Tech transfer has been a double-double machine averaging 16.9 PPG, 10.7 RPG, and 1.2 BKPG despite Cal’s rocky start under Mark Madsen.

13.) Allen Flanigan – Ole Miss

FPTS/G: 35.9

One of the best transfers I’ve seen in person so far this season, Flanigan has carried the Rebels to a No. 25 national ranking and an undefeated 11-0 start while averaging 17 PPG, 7 RPG, 3.2 APG, and 1.6 STLPG for new head coach Chris Beard.

12.) David Jones – Memphis

FPTS/G: 36.2

Between stints at DePaul and St. John’s, Jones is off to a career-best start on the offensive end averaging 20.8 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 2.2 STLPG, leading these Tigers to a 9-2 record with wins over No. 20 Arkansas, No. 21 Texas A&M, No. 13 Clemson, and No. 22 Virginia.

11.) Jonathan Mogbo – San Francisco

FPTS/G: 36.3

From two seasons with JUCO programs and another at Missouri State, Mogbo has continued to rise up the ranks of collegiate basketball and now averages 13.9 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 3.1 APG, 1.5 STLPG, and 1.1 BKPG for the 9-4 Dons.
