10. Gavin Potter, Arkansas State LB: 349.75 FPTS
Potter has battled injury issues in each of the last two seasons and following four years at Kansas, was unable to find his footing with the Red Wolves. Potter will transfer looking for a monster year in his final season of eligibility.
9. Jayden McDonald, Troy LB: 352.25 FPTS
McDonald has been the definition of consistency for the Trojans in his four years. Aside from an injury shortened 2022, McDonald was a tackling machine in the middle of the field and had a presence as a pass rusher.
8. Derrick Canteen, Virginia Tech DB: 364.30 FPTS
In his freshman season at Georgia Southern, Canteen burst onto the scene with six interceptions and nine pass defenses. Canteen tallied five more pass defenses and an interception in his only season at VT. A transfer corner with his coverage ability will be highly sought after.

7. Jaylen Stinson, Duke S: 381.80 FPTS
Four years into his collegiate career, Jaylen Stinson just continues to get better. Stinson’s tackling numbers have increased significantly each year, and he had his best season in passes defended with six in 2023.
6. Terry Jones, Old Dominion S: 382.00 FPTS
Potentially the top tackling safety left in the portal, Jones racked up a whopping 104 last season. The Baltimore native had an impressive six games of double-digit tackles.
