2. Walter Nolen, Ole Miss DL
The top recruit in the 2022 class, Nolen’s career at Texas A&M did not work out as well as he or Aggie fans may have hoped. Nolen made his presence felt, however did not provide the impact that is expected from a No.1 recruit as A&M struggled to consistently win. Lane Kiffin has been doing an unbelievable job in the transfer portal this offseason and Nolen is a huge piece of that group. If he can play like the monster he was in high school, this Rebels front will have SEC offensive coordinators losing sleep until the season begins.
1. DJ Uiagalelei, Florida State QB
Finally, the top player in our rankings, two-time transfer signal caller DJ Uiagalelei. DJ has been a starter for three of his four seasons at the collegiate level, two with Clemson, one with Oregon State. Most recently with the Beavs, DJ threw for 2,638 and 21 touchdowns along with 219 and six scores on the ground. Following the departure of head coach Jonathan Smith, DJ decided to enter his name into the portal for the second time. With Jordan Travis finishing his legendary career with the Noles, Uiagalelei has some massive shoes to fill. However, if he can lead them to a CFP berth that they fell just short of this season, he will immediately cement himself in FSU history.
