Today, were breaking down twenty five of the nation’s top transfer portal commits, making the jump from the low-major or mid-major ranks to a power-5 program this offseason.

25.) Trey Moore, LB – Texas

Career FPTS: 306.40

The 2023 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year will stay in state to join the Longhorns after three seasons at UTSA, headlined by consecutive seasons as a starter with 105 tackles, 22 sacks, nine defended passes, three forced fumbles, and an interception.

24.) Kempton Shine, DB – Virginia

Career FPTS: 317.30

Having spent the last three seasons at Eastern Michigan amassing 175 tackles, 26 passes defended, a pair of forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception, Shine is primed for an opportunity to showcase his skillset in the ACC.

23.) Jared Brown, WR – South Carolina

Career FPTS: 320.30

One of several former Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on this list, Brown was the program’s second-best receiver during the 2023 season with 740 receiving yards on 58 receptions, with five TD catches, and even rushed one in against Jacksonville State.

22.) Desmond Reid, RB – Pitt

Career FPTS: 338.30

Selected as the 2022 SoCon Freshman of the Year, Reid built on this success during his sophomore season in 2023 with a career-high 897 rushing yards on 131 attempts for a team-leading 13 touchdowns before joining the Panthers.

21.) Sam Franklin, RB – Oklahoma

Career FPTS: 345.20

Having spent now three seasons at UT-Martin, Frankin joins the Sooners ahead of the program’s first season in the SEC where he’ll have to continue his production after scoring 11 touchdowns and rushing for 1,386 yards on 223 attempts this past season
