Saint Thomas, Northern Colorado F

Saint Thomas has simply been an all-around star to start his tenure at Northern Colorado. Thomas started his career at Loyola Chicago where he struggled to find his footing. Everything changed when Thomas joined the Bears.

It was clear that he had flipped a switch in just the second game of the season, when Thomas dropped 20 points and 12 boards in an easy victory over Northern New Mexico. Ever since, Thomas has been on a tear. The 6-7 forward is averaging just under 20 and ten per game. Last Thursday against Montana, Thomas exploded for 37 and 14 in an overtime win.

Duke Miles, High Point G

The High Point Panthers are off to an outstanding 15-4 start to the season. Transfer guard Duke Miles is having a clear impact for this team in his first season at HPU after three years at Troy.

The junior guard is scoring 19.4 per night at an astonishingly efficient clip. Miles is shooting at 58.4 percent from the field and 83.1 from the free throw line. Duke has two stretches of back-to-back-to-back 20-point performances earning him two Big South Player of the Week honors.
