T-8. Jahmyl Telfort, Butler G: 13.3 PPG
Jahmyl Telfort was a stud for Northeastern during his three seasons with the Huskies. The Quebec native averaged double-digit points in each season. Now, Telfort provides an incredibly reliable second scoring option for Butler. During Telfort’s best stretch of the season, the 6-7 senior followed a 26/5/7 performance in an OT win vs Texas Tech with 18/9/8 in a home victory over Buffalo.
T-8. Daniss Jenkins, St. John’s G: 13.3 PPG
Prior to the start of the season, new head coach Rick Pitino brought in an unbelievable amount of transfer talent. Pitino assembled a starting five led by all but one transfer from this year’s class, and Jenkins is the leading scorer in the group. In addition, not only is Jenkins providing a consistent scoring threat for the Red Storm, but he is also leading the team in both assists and steals.
