10. JJ Starling, Syracuse G: 21.3 FPTS/G
The No.1 player in New York in the class of 2022 decided to come home following his freshman season at Notre Dame. The 6-4 transfer guard saw significant minutes his freshman season, starting 24-28 games played. Starling’s first year at Syracuse has him flying up draft boards. Improvement in every statistical category combined with an incredibly smooth stroke on the move have teams eyeing the Orange’s sophomore star.
9. Jayden Taylor, NC State: 22.2 FPTS/G
Indianapolis native Jayden Taylor started his collegiate career at Butler. The 6-4 junior decided to transfer to NC State following two seasons with the Bulldogs. Taylor’s consistent reliability as a scorer combined with a great handle have given NC State a boost. Taylor will need to take another step if the Wolfpack are going to make The Dance.
