Top 10 Transfer Fantasy Scorers in ACC
8. Joseph Girard III, Clemson: 2 4.6 FPTS/G
Yet another intra-conference transfer on the list, Girard III started four years at Syracuse before committing to Clemson for his final season. Orange fans wish Girard III never left following his lights out performance this weekend. In Joseph’s first and likely only game as a visitor at the Carrier Dome he went ballistic. The senior shot 4-5 from three for 18 total points. His 9-15 mark from deep in the last two games boosted the Tigers to road victories over not only ‘Cuse, but ACC leader North Carolina as well.
7. Ishmael Leggett, Pittsburgh: 25.1 FPTS/G
Rhode Island transfer Ishmael Leggett provided Pitt with the spark they needed to start a three-game win streak in a January 31st win over Wake Forest. Leggett exploded for 22 points which was good for a season high and shot 4-6 from three. The Panthers are heating up; however, time is running out on their NCAA Tournament hopes. Leggett will need to step up for Pitt as one of the most experienced guys on the roster. If he can do so, and Capel and co. can close out the season on a strong note, Pitt just might find their way into March Madness.
