6.) Tylor Perry – Kansas State

The second instrumental transfer piece acquired this offseason by Kansas State, Perry, the 2022/23 Conference USA Player of the Year, arrived in Manhattan, KS by way of North Texas where he led the Mean Green to a 2023 NIT Championship. Now, he’s helping this Wildcats program through a transitional season by averaging 14.8 PPG and a career-high 4.7 APG and dropping a game-high 26 points in that upset over Kansas.

5.) LJ Cryer – Houston

After four seasons at Baylor, winning a National Championship in 2021, the former top-100 prospect has become a critical part of the nationally ranked Cougars rotation while averaging a team-leading 14.8 PPG. Although Cryer’s offensive output has been a bit inconsistent in conference play with a bevy of talent headlining this Houston program, it’s easy to see the production with 20 points against WVU, 23 points over BYU, and 24 points in a loss at Kansas.
