College Basketball’s Top-10 Transfer Scorers through Week Two

Just two weeks into the college basketball season and we’ve already had some unforgettable scoring performances headlined by Ryan Kalkbrenner’s recent 49-point showing over UTRGV. However, several transfers have been getting involved with some significant scoring efforts as well including Davion Bailey and JT Toppin.

Here’s a look at the top-10 transfer scores through two weeks of the 2024-25 college basketball season and their best statline from the early campaign:

10.) Cam Carter – LSU

After stints at both Mississippi State and Kansas State, Carter has led LSU to an undefeated 3-0 start which included a 76-65 win over his former program in Kansas State. Carter managed 20 points, four boards and two assists while shooting 6-for-11 from the floor in the upset over the Wildcats and currently sits 42nd nationally averaging a career-high 20.7 PPG.

9.) Jackie Johnson III – Fordham

Following a freshman season spent at Duquesne before two season’s at UNLV, Johnson returns to the conference where he was selected as an All-Freshman honoree. With the Rams, he’s emerged onto the scene averaging 21.3 PPG and led a recent upset of Seton Hall with 18 points as well as the game-winning buzzer beater.
