6.) John Tonje – Wisconsin
Missing time during the 2023-24 campaign with injury, the former Colorado State and Missouri transfer is finally healthy and getting an opportunity to showcase his abilities at the high-major level. Averaging 22.6 PPG as the nation’s 14th highest scorer, Tonje led a 103-88 win over No. 9 Arizona with a career-high 41 points which was just shy of the Wisconsin scoring record.
5.) Jamal Mashburn – Temple
After time spent at both Minnesota and New Mexico, the two-time All-MWC selection hasn’t scored below 20 points in a game yet this season headlined by 26 points in the season opener against Sacred Heart. As Temple battled with Boston College this past weekend, it was Mashburn keeping the Owls within range late, finishing at 23 points in the 72-69 loss.
