SEC Championship, 4:00 EST-ABC: No.5 Georgia vs No.2 Texas (-2.5)

The Horns head to ATL with the title for a conference where “it just means more” on the line.

Their opponent? Georgia. A team who handled Texas in Austin with a 30-15 victory.

For the Dawgs, the health of Florida transfer Trevor Etienne will be crucial to sustained success. Kirby Smart said he was “hopeful” Etienne would be available for Saturday’s showdown.

The junior running back shredded the Longhorns for 87 yards and three touchdowns in the previous contest.

Overall, Etienne rushed for 477 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season while splitting touches with dynamic freshman Nate Frazier.

Texas boasts one of the most talented, experienced rosters in the nation.

Quarterback Quinn Ewers missed two games this season due to injury. However, he finished with 2,307 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

His top two wideouts joined the Longhorns this offseason. Matthew Golden, a Houston transfer, hauled in 39 passes for 576 yards and eight touchdowns.

Isaiah Bond added 510 yards and five touchdowns after transferring from Alabama this offseason.

For two teams who believe they have what it takes to be the best in the country, it’s time to prove it.
