Here’s a look at the top-10 transfer rebounders a little over a month into the 2024-25 college basketball season and their best performances from the early campaign:
10.) Norchad Omier – Baylor
Averaging 15.9 PPG and 9.3 RPG, the two-time transfer with stints at Arkansas State and Miami (FL) has led the Bears to a 7-3 record and a spot just outside the national rankings. Omier is currently tied for seventh in the country with five double-doubles, is tied for 20th with 93 total rebounds and recently led a win over St. John’s with 24 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
9.) Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe – Seattle
The former top-100 prospect has transferred from Oklahoma State to Georgia and is now finally finding his footing with Seattle, averaging career-highs of 13.9 PPG and 10.3 RPG to lead the WAC in rebounding. Through nine appearances the 6-foot-7 Moncrieffe has similarly managed five double-doubles, headlined by a 20-point, 11-rebound effort over Eastern Washington to open the season.
