4.) Tre’Von Spillers – Wake Forest
After bursting onto the scene with Appalachian State last season, a move up to the high-major ranks has been no problem for Spillers averaging 10.6 PPG, 9.5 RPG and 1.1 BKPG across 11 starts. The 2023-24 All-Sun Belt First Team selection’s best performance of the early season came to lead a win over Minnesota with Spillers managing a season-high 18 points and 16 boards.
3.) Sean Craig – IU Indy
One of the best stories in the country this season, Craig averaged just 2.9 PPG and 3.7 RPG over 32 appearances as a sophomore for Division II Indianapolis last season. However, he followed head coach Paul Corsaro to IU Indy this offseason in a move that greatly paid off with Craig now averaging career-highs of 10.0 PPG and 9.1 PG for 109 total rebounds at the DI level.
