Christian Ellis S, UNM to TBD
Ranked as the No.2 player in TPR’s rankings behind only his former teammate, Ellis led the Lobos with 99 total tackles from his safety position. Ellis entered the portal at the end of the 2024 season following three years at New Mexico, where he racked up 157 tackles and eight pass breakups in the last two seasons. Ellis, a Jacksonville native, will have top programs interested in his production.
CJ Campbell Jr RB, FAU to Rutgers
Campbell Jr will have big shoes to fill for the Scarlet Knights. Kyle Monangai, a four-year player for Rutgers, rushed for over 1,200 yards in each of the last two seasons. With Monangai’s eligibility at Rutgers up, Campbell Jr appears to be in a prime position to take over as the lead back. Campbell Jr, a two-time transfer, began his career at Florida State. He transferred to FAU following his sophomore season, where he rushed for 844 yards and 11 touchdowns. Not only did Campbell Jr gash opponents on the ground, but the 5’10” tailback lit it up through the air, going for 466 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
