Let’s take a look at the top 20 scorers that are still available in the transfer portal.
1 Zyon Pullin
Pullin averaged 18.3 points per game last season for UC Riverside. He is down to five schools: Florida, Gonzaga, LSU, Michigan, and Xavier.
2 Grant Nelson
Nelson heard from a long list of programs as soon as he entered the portal. He then tested the NBA Draft waters, but on May 30, he withdrew from the Draft. Alabama reportedly will host him for a visit. Baylor, Iowa, and Florida State have also been linked to The Unicorn on social media.
3 Nate Calmese
Calmese recently took a visit to Washington. He scored 17.6 points per game this past season for Lamar.
4 Kam Woods
Woods has bounced around throughout his collegiate career, but is still available looking to follow up on his 17.3-points-per-game season with NC A&T last season.
5 Maks Klanjscek
The Slovenian prospect entered the portal as a grad transfer on March 21. This past season, he scored 15 points per game for Houston Christian.
6 Marko Maletic
Maletic is the portal’s leader in 3PM/game at 2.84. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 15.9 points per game last season at LIU.
7 Marcus Watson
Watson scored more than 14 points per game last season for NC A&T. He told The Portal Report that he is hearing most often from Towson, High Point, Richmond, and Northwestern State. He reportedly took a visit to Towson this past week.
8 Trey Woodbury
Woodbury scored 13.8 points per game for Utah Valley last season before entering the portal. However, upon his first appeal for a medical waiver for another year of eligibility, his waiver was denied. According to a report by Brice Larson, he is appealing again.
9 Daniel Deaver
The Navy forward averaged 13.6 points per game this past season. He entered the portal on March 21 and his recruitment has been extremely quiet. There have been rumors that Deaver may stay in the Navy instead of pursuing portal options.
10 Myron Gardner
There have been rumors that Gardner, a 13.2-point-per-game scorer at Little Rock, has moved on to a professional basketball career.
11 David Jones
Jones averaged 13+ points per game at St. John’s last season. He recently visited Memphis on May 31, and Kentucky is also reportedly in the mix.
12 Cam Spencer
Spencer made a huge splash when he entered the portal from Rutgers a few weeks back. He then narrowed his list to four schools that he would visit (per Jeff Goodman): Miami, UConn, Oklahoma, UCLA.
13 Kevon Voyles
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 13 points per contest for Maryland-Eastern Shore this past year. Voyles updated his recruitment recently for The Portal Report, saying that UNCG, UMass Lowell, Radford, Jacksonville State, Sam Houston, JMU, and Southern Illinois were all after him.

14 Connor Vanover
Vanover, a 7-foot-5 monster forward out of Oral Roberts, posted averages of 12.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season. He is also the portal’s leading shot blocker at 3.2 per game. The big man withdrew from the NBA Draft just ahead of the deadline, and has visited Mizzou. Has other high majors calling as well.
15 Carte’Are Gordon
Gordon averaged 12.7 points per game this season at Grambling State.
16 Noah Farrakhan
Farrakhan averaged 12.1 points per game for Eastern Michigan last season.
17 Deshawndre Washington
The Chicago native scored 12 points per game for New Mexico State this past season.
18 Rayquan Brown
Brown, a 6-foot-6 guard, scored 11.9 points per game this season for MVSU in 18 games.
19 Rakeim Gary
Gary is a 5-foot-10 guard out of South Carolina State. Averaged 11.8 points per game last season, shot 39% from the field.
20 Arthur Kaluma
The 6-foot-7 Creighton star scored 11.8 points per game last season in the Bluejays’ best season in years.
