College Football’s Best Transfers Across Week Five Action

There were more MASSIVE performances from transfers this week across the college football landscape, including an outburst like none other from an SEC running back. Let’s dive in and check out the top transfer performances of the week!

RAY DAVIS – KENTUCKY

Davis, a Vanderbilt transfer, posted 53 TPR fantasy points this week, rushing for a whopping 280 yards on the ground with three touchdowns. In addition, he added a nine-yard touchdown catch in Kentucky’s win. The Wildcats are on fire, and Davis is a huge reason why.

SHEDEUR SANDERS – COLORADO

Sanders did all he could to battle back against Caleb Williams and USC, completing 67% of his pass attempts for 371 yards and four touchdowns in a shootout against the Trojans. Sanders has now shown the CFB world that he can compete with the best of them, going toe-to-toe with last year’s Heisman winner. Colorado, however, lost for the second-straight week.

ISMAIL MAHDI – TEXAS STATE

Another week, another big-time game from a Texas State portal pickup. Mahdi, a former Houston Christian running back, picked up 89 rushing yards and three rushing TDs on the weekend. In addition, he played a huge role in the passing game, picking up 89 yards through the air. Oh, and we forgot to mention: he returned the game’s opening kickoff 100 yards for a score too.

KYRON DRONES – VIRGINIA TECH

The former Baylor QB led the Hokies to a commanding win over the struggling Pitt Panthers. Drones finished with 228 passing yards, three passing TDs, 41 rushing yards, and two more TDs on the ground.

CHANDLER ROGERS – NORTH TEXAS

The former Louisiana-Monroe signal caller dropped 321 yards and three passing touchdowns on Abilene Christian. He also ran one into the endzone on one of his seven carries.
