6.) Jayden de Laura – Texas State

The former Washington State and Arizona signal caller is taking over his own program in joining Texas State this offseason. For de Laura, his best seasons came in 2021 as a sophomore with the Cougars before surpassing that in 2022 with a career-high season for the Wildcats of 3,685 passing yards and 23 TD’s.

However, this past season de Laura made just seven appearances for Arizona, forcing him to his the portal. For an offense that finished 11th nationally in points per game this past season, de Laura’s commitment represents a massive addition that can help carry that momentum into 2024.

5.) DJ Uiagalelei – Florida State

Between stints at Clemson and Oregon State, Uiagalelei is now back on the east coast and in the ACC with a move to Florida State following the departure of 2023 ACC Offensive Player of the Year Jordan Travis for the NFL Draft. Uiagalelei looks primed for another success for campaign after leading the Beavers to program highs in 2023 behind his 2,638 passing yards and 21 touchdowns.

But with the Pac-12 disbanding and Oregon State taking its football program to the Mountain West, Uiagalelei’s transfer was imminent and now the Seminoles will have a great chance to develop on last season’s success.
