8.) Will Howard – Ohio State
Following four seasons at Kansas State, finishing with a career-high 2,643 passing yards and 24 touchdowns in 2023, Howard is ready to take over for former Buckeyes quarterback turned Syracuse transfer Kyle McCord. With a core of 15 returning starters already confirmed back for the 2024 campaign in Columbus, Howard’s addition once again puts Ohio State firmly in the Big Ten conversation still months out from opening kickoff.
Having steadily improved during his time as a Wildcat, Howard, Ole Miss transfer running back Quinshon Judkins, and former Alabama lineman Set McLauglin will pace and lead the Buckeyes offense as the team’s top transfer contributors.
7.) Kurtis Rourke – Indiana
Being selected as the 2022 MAC Offensive Player of the Year and following that up with a 2023 All-MAC Second Team selection, Rourke is prepared for an opportunity in the power-5 and joins recently hired head coach Curt Cignetti at Indiana. Leading back-to-back bowl appearances for the Bobcats, Rourke has amassed 5,464 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and averaged a completion percentage of 67% in those two seasons as a starter.
On a completely rebuilt Hoosiers offense, Rourke will be joined by several former JMU Dukes who followed Cignetti from his previous stop. Including Elijah Sarratt and Zach Horton, as well as Rourke former teammate and top receiving target at Ohio in Miles Cross.
