8.) Jamir Watkins – Florida State
Garnering a 2023 All-Atlantic-10 Tournament selection for carrying VCU to a championship in Brooklyn and an NCAA Tournament appearance, Watkins was incredible to finish out the 2022-23 season. So much so, that it garnered the 6-foot-7 junior power-6 interest despite averaging just 9.5 PPG with the Rams last year.
For Florida State, Watkins acquisition has been foundational to a solid 11-7 record and a 5-2 start to the ACC campaign, averaging a career-best and team-leading 13.2 PPG and 5.8 RPG.
7.) Skyy Clark – Louisville
Our third former top-100 prospect and second Louisville transfer, Clark arrived from Illinois this past offseason where he averaged just 7.0 PPG and 2.1 APG as only a freshman. Now in his sophomore season, Clark is a key contributor despite these early struggles from the Cardinals, averaging career-highs of 13.6 PPG and 3.0 APG through 18 starts in 2023-24.
In that same Louisville win over New Mexico State, it was Clark leading the victory with a game-high 29 points and following that up another game-high 22 points to beat Bellarmine just days later.
