6. Matthew Cleveland, Miami: 26.8 FPTS/G
Matthew Cleveland started his career with Florida State. The final intra-conference transfer on the list averaged just under 14 points and eight rebounds for the Noles. A former five-star recruit, the Atlanta native decided to join the Canes following a Final Four appearance last year. Cleveland’s numbers in his first season at Miami have remained consistent. However, his efficiency numbers are through the roof. Cleveland has seen increases in FG%, 3PT%, and FT%. Expect the ultra-athletic, 6-7 guard to continue to climb draft boards.
5. Kevin Miller, Wake Forest: 27.4 FPTS/G
A foot injury prematurely ended Kevin Miller’s last season with Central Michigan after just four games. Miller decided to transfer to Wake Forest immediately following the conclusion of the season. Now, Miller and his teammates have Wake looking like the roster most impacted by transfer stars. Miller has been phenomenal for the Deacs. The Chicago native is averaging just over 16 per contest on over 47% from the field. Miller and Hunter Sallis (see below) have the Demon Deacons streaking toward March. A strong ending to the season puts Wake Forest in a great position to sneak into The Dance.
