Dillon Gabriel, Oregon QB

What a career it’s been for the Oregon Ducks newest QB1, Dillon Gabriel. Dillon, a Mililani, Hawaii, native, started his career with three years at UCF. He compiled 8,037 yards and 70 touchdowns during his time with the Knights.

Next, Gabriel landed in Norman, where he played two seasons for the Oklahoma Sooners. Gabriel impressed once again, throwing for over 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in each season. The most absurd part of his career? His uncanny ability to take care of the ball. Gabriel has just 26 interceptions in his career over 1,664 career attempts.

Gabriel’s tasked with filling the big shoes left by Heisman trophy finalist and former transfer Bo Nix. The first year of the new offense under Will Stein broke many records and Duck fans cannot wait to see what the future holds for this team. With Dan Lanning staying put, everything seems to be in place in Eugene.

However, the Ducks have had brilliant off seasons before. A missing national championship is on the mind of every Duck fan. It’s at the front of Dan Lanning’s mind. For now, that crucial number zero remains unchanged for the Ducks. If Dillon Gabriel can lead Oregon to that coveted title, he will forever cement himself in college football history.
