8. Lahat Thioune, South Dakota: 9.8 RPG

A Senegal native, Lahat Thioune’s college career started at Utah. While there, Thioune received limited minutes and decided to transfer to UCF. After another season of under 15 minutes per game, Thioune finally found a home this year with South Dakota. The 6-10 senior is easily clearing his career highs in both points and rebounds. Thioune’s 9.8 boards per contest lead the Coyotes and ranks top 20 in the nation. Thioune tallied 19 and seven on 80% from the field in an overtime win over Denver February 8th.

7. Saint Thomas, Northern Colorado: 10.0 RPG

What an unbelievable year Saint Thomas is having in his first season at UNCO. The Loyola Chicago transfer averages 20 and ten for the Bears and has 15 double doubles. Thomas’s best game came in another worldly performance against Montana. Thomas scored 37 points on 13-20 from the field and 9-11 from the line. Saint added 14 boards and four blocks helping carry his team to a 98-92 overtime victory. Thomas all but secured a spot on the Big Sky First Team, and now he looks to lead the Bears to a NCAA Tournament berth.
