No.9 (No.7) Alabama- Domani Jackson, CBÂ
-
HMs- Germie Bernard, Kadyn ProctorÂ
Ranked as the No.1 player in California and the second corner in his class, Domani Jackson committed to USC out of high school.Â
After a solid second season with the Trojans, Jackson decided to transfer to Alabama, a program with a track record of sending successful defensive backs to the next level. Â
Now, his Crimson Tide sit firmly in the CFP race, and Jackson’s draft stock has begun to rise. The junior cornerback has 35 total tackles and 5 passes defended this season, surpassing his numbers from a season ago. His interception as time expired closed out a two-point victory over South Carolina on Oct.12.

No.8 (No.6) Notre Dame- Riley Leonard, QBÂ
-
HMs- Beaux Collins, Mitch JeterÂ
A loss to Northern Illinois sent many Irish fans into a panic. Leonard, who transferred from Duke in the offseason, threw for just 163 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. Â
Flash forward ten weeks, and Notre Dame fans have seen a completely different signal caller. Since the defeat, Leonard has 12 passing touchdowns, 12 rushing touchdowns and just two interceptions.Â
His dual threat ability provides an invaluable weapon for the Irish, and Marcus Freeman has his team in the driver’s seat for the CFP with just two games to play.

No.7 (No.5) Indiana- Kurtis Rourke, QBÂ
-
HMs- Elijah Sarratt, Aiden FisherÂ
Curt Cignetti made it quite clear to Indiana fans what he intended to do when he arrived in Bloomington this offseason: win. Â
Since then, he has done nothing but that. Quite literally, in fact.Â
His Hoosiers have been led by the steady hand and consistency of Ohio transfer Kurtis Rourke under center. Rourke’s 71.8% completion percentage ranks sixth in the country. The senior has 21 passing touchdowns to just four interceptions on the season.Â
Now, Indiana sits within striking distance of its first CFP appearance with a showdown in Columbus looming Saturday.
