8. Sebastian Thomas, Albany: 32.5 FPTS/G

A Providence native, Sebastian Thomas decided to transfer after two seasons with Rhode Island. A chance to shine was clearly all Thomas needed to put on a show. The junior guard is averaging 18.1 ppg which gives him the highest scoring average on the team. On top of that, Thomas is leading the team in assists at 4.3 apg. Thomas has done an outstanding job limiting mistakes and has led the team in scoring in exactly half of their games.

7. Jamarii Thomas, Norfolk State: 32.8 FPTS/G

The Norfolk State Spartans are just 18 games into the season. Believe it or not, transfer guard Jamarii Thomas has cleared his total points scored from last season by 79. Thomas has been incredible finishing near the basket using his quickness and agility to slice through defenses and finish at the rim. Additionally, Jamarii’s 84.6% mark from the line gives him the confidence that no matter what happens at the rim, he will be scoring. Not only has Thomas’s offensive game improved mightily, but he is also having a major impact on the defensive side. Jamarii has a ridiculous 42 steals in 17 starts this season. That is good for 2.3 per game and clears his previous total of 30 in the last two seasons.
